In Provence 03:34
In Provence By Bill Sample and Darlene Cooper c.2017 Vs 1: In a villa in Provence with a bottle of Bordeaux They danced until the sun went down Then they held each other tight All through the moonlit night Just two young hearts falling in love Vs 2: In the morning through the hills of lavender they roamed Holding hands without a single care They never said a thing ‘Til they heard the church bells ring Just two young hearts falling in love Bridge: And they didn’t have the courage To come down off their cloud They would rather keep the silence Than say it right out loud They said they’d always be together From now until forever Two young dreamers in love Vs. 3: In a villa in Provence with a bottle of Rose They danced until the break of day And they held each other tight ‘Til they left to catch their flight Just two young hearts Just two young hearts Just two young hearts falling in love In Provence

You Are My Sunshine by Jimmie Davis You are my sunshine My only sunshine You make me happy When skies are grey You’ll never know, dear How much I love you Please don’t take my sunshine away The other night, dear As I lay sleeping I dreamed I held you in my arms When I awoke, dear I was mistaken And I hung my head and cried You are my sunshine My only sunshine You make me happy When skies are grey You’ll never know, dear How much I love you Please don’t take my sunshine away

about

Album features original songs of co-writers, Bill Sample and Darlene Cooper, played by a stellar band including horns. It is groove-oriented jazz - a little bit hip, a bit cool, a bit smoky, a bit bluesy…But very much ACCESSIBLE... ranging from funk to blues to R & B but with a jazz twist and a definite gospel influence. Their songs are filled with themes of love and social consciousness.

"unique but very musical and thoughtful arrangements on every song!!
The album doesn’t disappoint at all and a perfect reflection of who they are live." - David Foster (Grammy award winning producer)
